Ollie, our Fischer lovebird, has brought so much joy to our family! He is such a sweet boy and we can tell he was hand raised with love. Working with Maha was a joy and it is obvious she truly loves the birds she cares for! He is doing very well! He is very comfortable and he really likes being with us and out of his cage. Brighter Days Aviary and Ms. Maha are absolutely wonderful! My son, after conducting weeks of research on different species of birds, decided that he wanted to become the father of a feather-baby. He knew that he did not want to purchase his feather-baby from a pet store so we began searching for breeders in our area. We came upon the Brighter Days Aviary website and my son immediately fell in love with one of the lovebirds on the website. We were very impressed with the information provided for each lovebird shown. We decided that we wanted to meet this precious little one. From the initial call, I knew that Maha treated her birds with such care and concern. We scheduled an appointment to meet the lovebird. Upon arrival, Maha asked several questions to learn about our household, our schedule, and our knowledge. After discussing details, she brought the bird to us and it was love-at-first-sight between my son and the lovebird. Maha allowed us to hold him, pet him and get to know him. We were not rushed, she was very kind towards us and we made the decision that we found the newest addition to our family. The entire process was incredible. The bird was not quite ready to come home with us as he was still in the process of being weaned. During the week between paying the deposit and picking him up, we were sent several emails containing information on the best food brand, the bird's current routine and the best toys and treats for him. The day that we arrived to bring him home, Maha discussed with us important facts to know from feeding routine to types of things to look out for. She explained the process for easing him into his new home and answered every single question that we had in detail. You can tell that Maha absolutely loves her babies and she does ensure that you have all of the information that you need to raise a happy and healthy lovebird. She follows up by text to check on the bird, to make sure that his adjustment to a new home is working out and she is always asking if you have any questions. She also makes sure that you know that you can call or text her any time that you have a question and will also provide you with the name and location for an Aviary Veterinarian in your area. She loves when you send her pictures of the bird in his new home. My family had parakeets when I was very young so I did not know very much, if anything, about lovebirds. We have bought some books on proper care and have researched information online to educate ourselves. I can say that I am over the moon for our little feather baby! He has an amazing personality, he is sweet and oh-so-adorable. He sleeps for 10 hours each night and does not make a peep. When he is awake, he has the sweetest little chirp and his sweet singing is heart warming. If you are searching for a lovebird and have come across Brighter Days Aviary, you have found a great breeder! We cannot say enough wonderful things about Brighter Days Aviary and Maha. I got my Lovebird from Brighter Days Aviary because pet store birds are almost never tame. Maha is extremely educated on all of her birds, you can tell she takes great care of each of them. When you take a baby home, she makes sure to verbally instruct you in their care, and email you a personalized care sheet for the baby along with their hatch certificate. I brought my baby Lovebird home and she is the most friendly, loving bird I have ever owned. She never hurts me, and she has a lot of trust in me once she got to know me. I didn't have to train her to step up or not to bite. If I were to ever get another bird, I would definitely go back to Brighter Days Aviary. I am in love with my baby and so glad that she is so social and friendly. I highly recommend Maha.

I just want to thank Brighter Days Aviary for the love and care that she gives to her birds. In my research, I learned a lot about bird breeders, and how different they are!! I appreciate that my baby was hand raised, fed and handled on a daily basis. We have had our baby for about a month and because of his daily routine, he has socialized quickly, and is such a sweet boy. I had a wonderful experience getting my sweet lovebird, Teddy, through Brighter Days!! This is my first bird and Maha made sure to help me every step of the way from good nutrition, the best toys/cage/perches for lovebirds, and what to expect the first couple of weeks with my new bird. You can tell Maha cares so much for the birds she raises and wants them to go to great homes. Teddy is such a little love and already knew how to step up when I got him. He is adapting so well and I know I can still text Maha should I have any questions/concerns.
