Policies, Terms, & Guarantees:

Brighter Days Aviary guarantees that there are no symptoms of disease or parasites at the time of sales and that our birds are healthy. This means that our birds are free of viral infections, pathogenic bacterial infections, fungal infections and congenital defects. We do not consider a slight growth of gram-negative bacteria to be a disease but recognize that this is a stress-related reaction to moving homes/process of bring baby home.

Buyer is encouraged to have the bird(s) examined by a licensed avian veterinarian of his/her choice within 2 days (48 hours) from the time of pickup to verify the health of the bird(s). If during this period, the bird(s) are found to have a condition which seriously affects their health or well-being as determined by the examining veterinarian, Brighter Days Aviary agrees, 
at its discretion and once the bird(s) have been returned, to either refund the buyer the full purchase price or replace said bird(s) with bird(s) of the same species, sex (if known) and approximate age.

After the stated 2 day period (48 hours) after delivery, then buyer understands and agrees that the sale is one of "as is" condition.

 

I take no responsibility for problems occurring in other bird(s) caused by transmission of disease from the new bird(s) (or vice versa) if the buyer does not decide to quarantine. If proper quarantine is observed, there should not be a problem. Quarantine is the buyer's responsibility.

 

We reserve the right to take the bird to our veterinarian, if our veterinarian determines the bird to be unhealthy, ill or dead due to neglect, malnutrition, mistreatment, improper care, or injury sustained after purchase, no refund or replacement will be given.

 

Brighter Days Aviary reserves the right to refuse a sale of a bird to anyone for any reason.
