Promising You Brighter Days When You Take One Of Our Babies Home!
Our Contract:
Bird ownership is a commitment that should not be taken lightly. Your new baby will be your companion for the next 15-20 years. All our babies are hand-tamed, hand fed, and use to being handled daily. Each baby's personality is unique and will change and evolve as the baby grows older, which is reflected in the care given and the environment in which the baby lives.
Keeping our babies health and wellbeing in mind, we have some guidelines that must be followed in order to purchase a baby from Brighter Days Aviary:

A suitable cage (minimum 30x18x18 or 24x24x24) must be picked out and purchased before the scheduled date that you will bring your baby home.

You cannot smoke indoors or near your bird(s)

A commitment to feeding the baby the best diet available, including fresh foods (fruit/veggie salad recipe included when taking your baby home) and high-quality pellets (our babies are weaned onto Zupreem pellets). Absolutely NO seed-only diets.

A commitment to provide toys, and different types of perches to the baby and replace them when they are worn out.

A commitment to letting the baby out of their cage every day and giving the baby daily love and interaction.

Must agree to keep the baby's cage clean at all times and to not use poisonous/toxic chemicals when cleaning the cage or surroundings. The fumes coming from the cleaning products WILL harm or even kill the baby!

You cannot intentionally breed the baby.

You cannot set the baby free. They have 0 chance of survival and will die a slow and painful death due to starvation, dehydration, exhaustion, or any injuries sustained.

You must provide a permanent home for the baby, if you can no longer provide a home for your baby you MUST return the baby to Brighter Days Aviary. No exceptions.

You cannot feed the baby to any animal. They are not feeders!
These guidelines/rules must be followed because legal action can be taken by Brighter Days Aviary against any person who does not stick to these guidelines. You will be provided a copy of this contract and you must sign it before taking the baby home.
